Xie Yousu 謝友蘇

Xie Yousu   謝友蘇 was born in Suzhou, Jiangsu province in 1948. 
Based in Suzhou,  Xie Yousu specialises in painting the ordinary people in old Suzhou. Ordinary and trivial activities in life serve as ideal subjects. The poignancy and humor with which he paints his people carrying on with their lives – whether as recreation or profession – are nothing short of memorable.
